The Friends of the Park are throwing open the iconic gates of Point Park on September 1st for the annual celebration of America's best. Come to our unique and casual Party at Point Park, and you'll rediscover the trove of treasures waiting beyond that familiar arch.

Tap your toes to the rhythms of the Dismembered Tennesseans, masters of American bluegrass. Raise a toast, and savor a fun menu that blends the regional tastes of North and South. Rally around our century-old New York Peace Monument, America's only Civil War monument that specifically honors peace and re-union. Marvel at our billboard-sized Battle of Lookout Mountain painting, amid the roar of celebratory cannon fire.

Visit the newly refurbished Ochs Museum. Then, capture the moment and keep it forever by taking home your own Umbrella Rock photograph. (You'll join the parade of thousands who, down through the decades, have documented their visit of the Point. Umbrella Rock will be open that evening exclusively for National Treasures guests!)   read more (28 words)
